THE DREAM By Bryce J. Allen
The first video games that I played as a kid were "Mario Paint" and "Super Mario World" for the Super Nintendo Entertainment system. My Uncle Chris owned it and I used to play it at his old apartment. It was starting there that I became a big Nintendo fan. I recieved my Nintendo Wii for Valentine's Day of 2009 and I got my Nintendo DS for my 9th birthday. As a young child, at the age of five, I spent half of my time playing my dad's Playstation 2 and every time I played it I thought about how amazing it would be to actually be able to make my own games. I sometimes got criticized for being a Nintendo fan, but I'd rather play any Nintendo game ,even the most horrible game ever with awful controls, horrible characters, and the dumbest story line ever(I'm describing an actual game) than play any of their horrible console games.
Around the age I was nine, I got the game, "Wario Ware DIY" for DS and "Wario Ware DIY Showcase" for Wii. These games made me want to become a game developer more and more. Years went by and then an idea came to my head. When I turned eleven I searched the internet for hours and hours, finding a way to accomplish my dream. It was the most boring search of my life and kept me up all night. Then I found a site that had a list of game creation software, my heart filled with joy, I was closer to my dream. I eventually was introduced to a free piece of software that was very easy to understand and I started making "re-skins" of the tutorials, then I lost the files........I eventually decided to start making creative games of my own.
I founded "Terado Enterprises" because I felt that my style of gameplay wasn't being shown to the world and I felt that video games today have lost the essence and creativity of the classic retro games from the past(such as Kid Icarus, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, etc.) that made them fantastic and successful in the future. What I want to do is follow this slogan for Terado Ent.:
"Bringing Classic, Creative, Retro Gaming Back!"
